[ARCHIVED] End of 2021 Boating Season

The Harbormaster's Office is notifying boaters with important dates concerning conclusion of the 2021 boating season. 

The following seasonal services will end as indicated below.

Town Landing and Dinghy Docks

  • Dinghies should be removed from the Town Landing at your earliest convenience. Most dinghies are not being used and are full of water.
  • Town Landing will be removed on 18 October and will be closed to the public no later than 17 October

Public Access Facility - Boat Ramp

The public access facility will be closed for several hours during high tide on 18 October to remove the Town Landing Floats. Please do not plan to use the facility during this time.

Pump-out Services

  • Pump-out boat services will end on 10 October.
  • The Town Landing pump-out station will be shut down no later than 16 October.

Rental Moorings

  • Rental moorings will be decommissioned beginning in early October.
  • Rental Mooring reservation requests are no longer being accepted. Reservation requests will open again next Spring.

Permit Renewals

  • Next year's permit renewals will be sent out in early November. Be sure to look for your e-mail notification from and renew your permit as soon as possible, as they expire on 1 January with a renewal grace period until 1 March
  • Late Mooring renewals will not be accepted and the location will be reassigned to a new applicant from the wait list.
  • Docking permit renewals received after 1 March , are subject to a $50.00/month late fee.

Please note all above scheduled closures are weather dependent and may occur earlier. Plan accordingly and do not wait until the last minute.
