There will be road closures with detour routes today (December 5) for the annual "Christmas in the Square" event in downtown Hingham. Detour routes will be posted. Drivers who use this route as part of a commute or those traveling through should remain on Rte. 3A to avoid delays.
-Main St. will be closed at Elm St. and at North St.
-Central St. will be closed at Elm St. and at North St.
-South St. will be closed at Central St. and at Main St.
North St. will remain open but drivers should expect significant delays in this area.
Also, please watch for the temporary "No Parking" signs that are in place for the event.
