The Hingham and Weymouth Harbormasters will be conducting a State Boating Course available to anyone ages 12 and up. Through this course students can obtain a "Massachusetts Boating Safety Certificate".

This Boating Safety Certificate allows youths between the ages of 12 and 15 to legally operate a motorboat without adult supervision. This certificate also meets New Hampshire's mandatory boating education law for recreational boating in New Hampshire.
