Hingham, MA – A Scituate man was arrested Monday for allegedly exposing himself and performing a lewd act in a parking lot in Wompatuck State Park.
On June 10, 2024 at 10:40am Officers were sent to the parking lot near the Visitor’s Center in Wompatuck State Park after a woman reported a man was standing beside his truck in the lot with his pants down exposing himself while committing a lewd act. The woman said he was looking at children who playing on a nearby playground. The man got into the truck and drove away onto Union St. headed further into the Park. Officers found the man driving inside the Park. The man was arrested by Hingham Officers. His truck, a silver Chevrolet pick-up truck, was towed.
Arrested was Alan Scott Bonney, age 64, of 25 Hornbeam Rd., Scituate, MA. He was charged with 1) Open and Gross Lewdness 2) Disturbing the Peace. He was being booked at the Hingham Police station and arraigned at Hingham District Court on June 10, 2024. The Massachusetts Environmental Police assisted Hingham Officers. ### Contact P.I.O. Lt.
